RE: Peep sight string

You should get a new piece of tubing. It is now most likely too short (actually most shop install them too short to begin with). Also it is old and could easily fail.

It should be long enough so...

Ok, last night I set up and measured/tested/shot the new Mathews Drenalin -- here are the results.

I feel my test is non-biased, but I do have some personal opinions in it, so it is not totally...

RE: Mathews Drenaline?

Yep pretty much the same specs as the Switchback. A little lighter and rated 2 fps faster. I like the new limbs and the new retention system better than previous -- it is very similar to PSE's limb...

RE: Whisker bisket slows down arrows

I have never seen more than a 2-3 fps difference and on my Slayr it shoots the exact same fps with a WB as it did with a launcher blade rest. The hole on mine is a little larger than the shaft and I...

RE: How is this draw force curve...?

I saw this curve somewhere else before and the zero noted hysteresis jumped out at me. I think ther is actually some as I find it odd that at every inch the draw weights are whole numbers (no...

RE: Binary Cam Timing?

First, Bigpapascout is correct about timing the bow at full draw, and that the binary cams can indeed be out of time. They are connected together and what the "slaved" means is that when one stops...

RE: Got to shoot the one of the 2007 Darton's

I agree that Darton did not design the previous cams -- and I also feel their patent would not stand up with a good patent laywer on the case because there is prior art. There is an old patent on a...

RE: revolution cams

Just because the cams were 30" on the old bow does not mean they will be 30" on your bow. Thereare a lot of factors that will determin the draw length and poundage you will end up with.

BigJ12 has it right. The loop ends should not be burnt to the extent that the material turns black -- is should remain the same color as the loop material. He is also correct about not mashing or...

Take them off and measure them. The standard measuring method is on 1/4" posts and under 100# of tension. Measure from the outside of the posts.

String had tied in nocking point above and below the nock, a d-loop, and hush kit.

At 70# and 30" draw:
398 grain arrow
297 fps

Turned down to 61#
same 398 grain arrow
