Default Whisker bisket slows down arrows

I accidently posted this in the wrong forum before, i was wondering a guy was talking in a different website that the whisker bisket slows arrows down by 10FPS? I was just wondering if this is true i have a whisker bisket on my bow and was wondering if that was a bad purchase even though i love the thing to death so i dont have to worry about my arrows falling out.

I have never seen more than a 2-3 fps difference and on my Slayr it shoots the exact same fps with a WB as it did with a launcher blade rest. The hole on mine is a little larger than the shaft and I use fpl low profile vanes.

with feathers i dont loose any with vanes i loose1-3 but never anymore. i shoot 50 yrds with one pin (dead on from 10-40) with my WB, i love it. it was nice to see a guy the other day on a hunting show using a drop away and totally missed a doe by about 5 feet then he looked down and noticed his rest was messed up. put the WB on tighten it down and never worry about it again.

when i put my WB on it slowed the speed down by 4 feet per sec. I was using a drop away rest. Can't think of the brand right off hand but this was two or three years ago.

My WB slowed my speed down by about 8 fps. People like them because the arrow cannot fall off. Well many of the dropaways are made that way now. I shoot a ripcord and it is awesome. I don't know why I ever used a WB. Not trying to badmouth them, but the difference is night and day.

using a Newberry B1 70# 29" draw
shooting a 465 GN arrow with 4" vanesthru a archery Chrony

WB shot263FPS
TKO fallaway shot272.9 fps
the lighter the arrow the more reduction
feathers would not have as much resistance so I would guess about a 5 to 7 FPS difference with Feathers but that is just a guess
