Bowtech Old Glory - what happened?

RE: Bowtech Old Glory - what happened?
I guess this the first time around but it looks like they increased their max draw to 32" vs 31.5" as originally listed, so I'm guessing that is the reason for the drop.
Me thinks there are a few typos.

yes , it was an is a type-o in the catalog. These things happen. The info on the web is correct.
.I mean I had noticed that tha Old Glory had the same speed as the Allegience with four inches longer ata and a greater bh. I new there was a typo for one of the bows. oh well it is still going to be a fantastic bow.

Saw one
String had tied in nocking point above and below the nock, a d-loop, and hush kit.
At 70# and 30" draw:
398 grain arrow
297 fps
Turned down to 61#
same 398 grain arrow
281 fps

RE: Bowtech Old Glory - what happened?
I read somewhere that BowTech changed the way they rated their bow speeds, that is, the new speeds are now with the hush kit installed. I may be wrong, but I seam to recall reading that somewhere. I believe the reason was they were getting too many complaints from the customers about the bows not reaching the IBO speeds advertised.

I have not chrono'd mine, just going by the BC. An inch of draw would account for 8 to 10 fps. I won't worry over 4 fps.
DLE, glad to hear you're happy with the Old Glory's speed on your bow.
