What about longevity?I used to use leeches, but they got torn up too fast.

How much speed reduction have you noticed with the leeches though? My "worst" was only about 3 fps.
Frank.

To be honest I tried them when they first came out and they flew off after a few shots and never bothered getting anymore.

Aussie-guy,

The leeches were crap as far as durability goes when they first came out. The new ones ar soooo much more durable. The last set (kevlar imbeded) I had on there lasted an entire hunting season and off season and sere still in good shape when I sold the bow two weeks ago. The newest one with the long section that goes between the string strands are suppose to be even more durable then last ones.

You should give them a shot again.

I agree with bigbulls. The durability of the leeches has improved considerably over the last year...not only because of the material but also because of the design.

I have heard that the Alpine string things work really well and are more durable. Not sure how they affect speed.
