If he hasn't said anything completely specific, you are better off with a gift certificate. hunter's can be, and usually are very specific in exactly what they want, and often very brand loyal too....

when you do the next cutting, look around after a while to see if any deer have been attracted to the area by the sound of the chainsaw. its not uncommon for them to get trained to go to the sound...

looked up to my stand and got a chance fleck of something in my eye that scratched my cornea a bit, more annoying than anything, but somewhat painful and needed some kind of drops for a few days.

Yeah, that's fine, but then you still have to go out and gut the deer. Sounds too much like work. They need to have the laser beam kill the deer and gut it, before you get the cell phone alert, then...

about 15, but really whatever gives me good angles for shooting. I almost never go higher than 15 so I can keep a flatter shot, and have hunted as low as 5 or 6 feet due to no good shooting lanes...

i've gotten good results with remington scirroco 130 gr., and hornady light magnum boat tail soft point 140 gr. the hornady's ballistics are actually very similar to 140 gr accubond in 7mm rem mag,...

yes shooting does things, and no it won't likely mess up your deer population. the hill above the shooting range has deer walk on it, past the range on a daily basis.

yeah, they look like miniature versions of the stick on limb dampeners. another idea is when the kwickee breaks after a few dozen uses, replace it with a soft loc or other less mechanical quiver.

don't wear camo in public because I keep it clean and scent free at home, why use it up going to the store. I do wear some brand apparel, Remington hat, bowtech hat, etc.
