I would recommend knocking on some doors of local farmers. They hate woodchucks. I have had several farmers give me access to their land during the summer to hunt woodchucks. Once I went a few...

RE: new to traditional archery

I just started shooting a recurve myself (just over a month now).

I bought instinctive shooting by G. Fred Asbell, the book has been very valuable to me.

I started practicing at 5 feet. ...

RE: Most accurate, Worst, Favorite out of the box Muzzleloader.

Most accurate out of the box: CVA wold. Paid $100 for it, took it to the range and dropped down two pellets and a powerbelt. First shot was through the bulls eye at 50 yards. 2nd shot was right...

I have taken (or witnessed) over a dozen deer with the 300 grain XTP. Always with 80-100 grains of powder.

RE: Small Game Field Dressing question?

-This depends on how the animal is taken. A small animal taken at close range with a 12 guage should be field dressed. A squirrel head shot with a 22 is another matter entirely.
