er, ah blackpowderfever, your math is a bit off. His multiplier would be 4X not 8X. So it would be 16 clicks per 1" impact change at 25 yards. Dead on at 25 yards, then check at 100 sounds good.
Another way to do it (DoubleHH): remove theplunger and breechplug, eyeball your viewthrough the bore and center a distant object with the rifle held securely. Then move the scope's crosshairs to intersect with that same object. (I've cut a couple of notches in a cardboard box to hold the rifle and a distant light used as the object works well at night) That will usually get at least your windagevery close.
Another would be to fire 2 or 3 shots at25 yards (I would suggest only one if you are sure of your load and ability), then mark the center of those shots (hopefully one nice hole), then again aim at the bull and have a third hand
move the crosshairs to center on the marked hole while the rifle remains steady. That method should get you close enough to move your target on out to 100.

I've never actually measured a group in my life. I always put up a target and shoot until I am done shooting. I practice at 25 and 50 yards. Once in a blue moon I will shoot at a 100 yard target. Most of my practice is designed to improve my offhand shooting at close range because I stalk when I am hunting. Offhand I have become a capable shooter at distances up to 50 yards with my ML. 50 yards is a long shot in the field for me, most shots on deer are at 15-40 yards.
I haven't taken many deer compared to many folks on this forum (12), but I have never needed a 2nd shot and am proud of that. I have also never needed to track a deer, so my shoooting must not be too bad. I consider my shooting skills secondary to my stalking skills. If I do the stalking part properly the shooting is academic.
I see a lot of guys shooting at 200 yard targets at the range with the full bench setup. These same folks hunt the same places I do, and they never practice offhand shooting, which is a travesty.

I'll be honest with you. I've shot exactly one sub 1" group of three shots with my Omega. Everything fell into place for those three shots. Usually I shoot 2-3" groups consistently with the Omega. That is finefor me. My centerfires are about the same, but usually2" or less. I'm not obsessed with MOA accuracy because it has a lot to do with the shooter and most can't do it. At 200 I'm inside the pie plate with the Omega and that is MY maximum distance with that rifle.
MOA is nice but on the other hand MOA is generally unobtainable to most.
I'm a pie plate MOA guy.

If you are 1 inch right you must move that scope 8x4=32 clicks. remeber to be dead on at 25 will put you a little high at 100 depending on powder and grain of sabot. Ok i was not real bright in Math but how do you get 8 and the 4? So lets say you were 3 inches right at 25 yards what would it be? Iam sorry to be so Stupid? I just want to learn this.

DoubleHH - read my post above. If you are 3 inches right at 25 yards, you would be 12 inches right at 100 yards - do you follow that? Four times the distance so four times the error. In order to correct for that 12 inches right at 100 yards, since your scope requires four clicks per inch (1/4" clicks), then you would need to move LEFT 4 x 12 = 48 clicks.
zat help?
TomL - iz u Tom Lodge? If so, I don't blame you for not measuring.
