Mine liked the bulk Remington round noses best I had to get a die from Hanned so I could flatten the nose and get something like CCI Small Game Bullet. The rifle never noticed the difference.

The first thing you should ask yourself about bullets is did this bullet hit the market before the .300 RUM? If it did it will probably work just fine in your 7mm. Better bullets weren't needed...
