I agree. That's a once in a lifetime buck. I know the farmer isn't thinking about a quality photo here, but at least get the deer out of the truck and take it with your combine in the background.

Yeah, any change in a core ares will bring deer on alert...but you have to cut those limbs down in order to get an arrow to the deer.

Just cut the limbs down and see what happens.

I would probably (and ususally do) take the aggressive approach and will grunt or rattle at the buck, depending on the time of year. Now? Definitely rattle.

It is amazing to watch a buck go out...

Used to be faced with this scenario quite often. What I did (if I didn't have a stand setup for multiple wind directions) is just hunt off the ground. Or, just grab the climber and get up 5 to 8...
