1st Annual Temperature and Wind Kill Data Report ***Poll Added**
I am really curious as to whatthe weather was when you killed your deer .... I think the data that we collect on HNI will be most beneficial for us as we continue in our quest for whitetails year after year. This is strictly for Bowhunting please
So for those that kill a whitetail, please post the following information .....
1. Date of Kill
2. Time of Kill
3. Temperature
4. Wind speed AND Direction
5. What you Killed
6. Location of Kill
If we get enough involvement in this, I will compile the info and post it with graphs and all sorts of goodies .....

RE: 1st Annual Temperature and Wind Kill Data Report
I have been keeping a daily journal for the last couple of years. All of those details are recorded for each day in the woods. It really helps you remember (down the road)specific days afield too.

RE: 1st Annual Temperature and Wind Kill Data Report
10/24/2008
8:00am
40 degrees
wind about 5 to 10 mph out of the east
7 point buck
Chemung county, town of Veteran
The funny thing is, he came from my left, andwest of me. Good thing the wind wasn't North East, or I would have been winded for sure. 30 more seconds and I'm sure he would have.
