RE: Black Cloud shooters A FYI

Unusual to hit the bird and blow up the barrel. I have also seen reports of this. Interestingly mythbuster's had a show about blowing up shotgun barrels and it wasn't easy for them to do.

Why is there such a big difference in price between the different models of Rem 700's. The SPS seems much cheaper than the BDL. The synthetic stocks are also cheaper. Does a wood stock cost much more...

RE: Feeding Deer Now Illegal

They are considered baiting but you can still put them out the rest of the year. Here in NY they made feeding deer illegal, not just baiting.

I wonder why they never specifically mention minerals licks? I would think they are a lot worse than supplemental feeding.

RE: NY special black powder?

They expanded the area for antler restrictions but I haven't read anything about an early black powder. That caused quite an uproar last year.

RE: Creating a wildlife preserve ??

He probably can call it whatever he wants. Is he doing anything besides not allowing hunting? If he somehow contains the deer or other wildlife so they can't leave I believe that's different.

I hope you read the regs. You can't use the regular season tag during early archery. So until Nov. 19 you can only shoot a doe.
