RE: Do you shoot a new broadhead at a target first??

I shoot every broadhead before hunting with them to eliminate any "fliers" and resharpen them on the shaft. If I was shooting a head like the slick trick I'd do exactly as Schism does.

RE: Common Sense Arrow Setup

Tell this to the olympic shooters (I believe they have a 60lb and 280 fps max). See if you can find one that was using aluminum. The reason vegas shooters use aluminum is only because aluminum arrows...

RE: how do I get my broadheads flying

With a properly tuned bow you CAN have any quality broadhead hitting the same point of impact (POI) as a field point. I do not agree with moving the sight for your broadheads. A broadhead that is...

RE: My bow has slowed down for some reason

If your finding your groups going up and down from day to day it could be an issue with form. You could be dropping your arm or changing your grip. More heel pressure will kick your arrows up while...

RE: How do you sharpen your broadheads?

It depends on what broadhead you are using. Some can be sharpened on flat stones and others on lansky style sharpeners. Although most can be sharpened with an all-sharp or G5's broadhead sharpener.

RE: spot hogg hunter hogg it ??

You can remove the pins by loosening off the two set screws for the pin you want to remove. With the screws loose point the sight with the pin pointing down and tap on the sight.

RE: do you re-use...

What speed affects is the abitility to tear. The faster it is traveling the cleaner the tear will be. Yet a cut from a sharp blade will be just as clean whether it is a fast or slow one. A clean cut...

RE: Magnus Stinger and poor blood trails?

The two most important factors of whether or not a broadhead will leave a blood trail is blade sharpness and shot placement. The latter having more of an impact.

RE: Buck of lifetime or not?

Good point. Even if you could find them here it would still be an antlerless deer. The horns _may_ save your butt in court but as far as the Fish and Fur cops are concerned it is an antlerless deer....

RE: someone didn't have christmas spirit!

Thiefs are one of the lowest forms of life on the planet.

On the trespassers I'd remove the stand and leave him a note telling him where he can come and get it. 10 to 1 you never see his face.

Ripcord for me. Only thing I don't like about the limbdriver is that it is a specific fit for the big 3 manufacturers. I like using the same accessories from bow to bow.
