Bowhunting squirrel

RE: Bowhunting squirrel
As hunting squirell in Washington is illegal, I haven't done it. I would assume it would be pretty difficult due to how small they are. It could probably be done, though I have a feeling you may lose more arrows doing it than you'd like.

hey man you can hunt squirrels with your bow I've killed four last season... Just hunt the like you are hunting deer... I always care one or two arrows with field points for small game... Hunting squirrels from a treeestand is very fun to me with a bow. I also took a racoon, red and gray fox this way too...

I've never gone out with my bow specifically for squirrels, but I do take a field tip or two with my during deer season just incase its a slow day and a squirrel walks by.
I didn't do very good this year however, I missed one at 10 yds, and another at 30.[:-]

You're right, I'd say pound for pound they are one of the tougher animals out there. My dad shot one last year at about 20 yards (lucky shot if you ask me) and that thing just did not want to die, he held onto life like he had some kinda purpose.
