I also have a savage semi auto .22. I put a bushnell sportsman 3- 9 X32 on it. Good scope and it is pretty clear. Awsome setup with the CCI mini mags.I got it at Gander Mountain for 39.99.

I really like my 22-250 loaded with 50g winchester ballistic silvertips. And given the right conditions with minimal wind and a rangefinder i feel comfortable out 375 - 400 yds.
