fine .223

I want a really fine(beautiful) looking-shooting rifle-in 223. I dont want a semi-auto--more like a bolt action. Ive looked at CZ rifles and they look nice, I like the savage with the accutrigger,...

RE: You can have only one gun to put food on the table. Which one?

I would say a .223, maybe an ar-15 flat top-scope, you got self defense, distance, and accuracy. plus ammo is cheaper than some and smaller

RE: .22 semi-auto

i agree with the 10/22, but personally I would go with the marlin 60, due to the 10/22 jamming with certain ammo, and if you are plinking you want to use cheap ammo, therefore the marlin 60 is good,...

RE: Arizona .22 hunting

I'd go with the ruger 10/22 with a 25 $ fixed 4 scope. Or at wal-mart look at the marlins--model 60. The 10/22 seems to jam with cheaper ammo so I really recommend the marlin, even though many will...

RE: Making Jerky

I use the 1-1 worsterschire--franks or tabasco--and I marinade for about a week. It turns out full flavor; but keep in mind that it is a personal preference. I just happen to love the flavor.

RE: .30/06 or 7mm rem?

30-06---cheaper ammo. I bought a savage 30-06 a few years back and I love it. It shoots perfect with a 3-9x40 scope at 150 yards. plus the savage accu-trigger is amazing.(this is personal opinion)
