RE: .22-250??!!

It has nothing to do wth ego. I think a .22 caliber bullet will probably do fine on a southern deer and it can kill a midwestern deer but why risk it if you don't have to.

RE: Will Beatty Buck now be entered into P&Y?

He still had to draw the bow in the presence of that buck. I believe it's only a matter of time until P&Y removes the asterisks. I don't see why they are reluctant to change a let-off rule. I'm not...

RE: Two, three, or four blade

Whether or not you can line up the blades with the fletchings is irrelevant. It makes absolutely no difference. Two blades are asier to tune because they have less surface area for air to push on....

RE: If you want to get rid of that gamey tast...

I never worry about getting rid of the gamey taste because my deer never have it. There is a simple way to prevent it. IMMEDIATELY after the kill get the guts out and get it cooled down. 100% of the...

RE: Heard a sad statistic on young hunters

I agree with the instant gratification theory. I also think land access is a huge problem. Not many young people can pony up the money for a lease. I hunt less than a mile from a subdivision where $1...
