Awesome Picture

This awesome picture was taken with a Digital camera in the Bitterroot National Forest in Montana on August 6, 2003, by a fire behavior analyst from Fairbanks, Alaska by the name of John McColgan.

That pic was taken of the huge wildfires in the midwest several years ago. When I got it the first time, the complete story came with it inclduing the info about the award the photgrapher won for this pic. I used it for wallpaper at least 3 years ago.

I saw the same pic said it was from canada I guess it wasnt.

It' s from the fire in the Bitterroots in Montana in 2000. Picture was taken by a firefighter and was downloaded on his computer, then one of his coworkers e-mailed it to a friend, and the rest is internet history. Checked it out on several urban legend sites and it' s real.
