RE: More ammo for the wife.

Yes. Try to wash the garments only when necessary (washing reduces the life of the carbon).

RE: Which Bow, Mathews/BowTec/Hoyt?

I was a die hard Mathews guy since 1999.

I just switched to Hoyt. Never shot a Bowtech.

Both Hoyt and Mathews are real nice bows.

I think the new grip and cam and 1/2 puts Hoyt on...

RE: Mathews LX

Thanks for the feedback.

I just bought a used 2003 Cyber Tec and love that bow as well.

I imagine the LX will be my last Mathews and not make it past the summer.

RE: Mathews LX

I agree. But, I already ordered the bow and cannot cancel.

If I don' t like it, I will let it go at the end of the summer.

RE: Mathews FX vs. Buckmaster G2

Definately not the Buckmasters. In my opinion, they sound like .22 being shot.

The FX is a good bow.

Have him try a Hoyt bow with the cam and 1/2.

RE: Mathews LX

Wow.

I have an LX on order and was thinking about selling it. I have a Razor Tec and a Cyber Tec. I was so impressed with Hoyt that I thought I would abandon Mathews.

I will give it a...

RE: Scent Control Clothing

I have Red Head' s suprescent liner I wear under a Scentblocker 3D leafy lite.

I get winded maybe once a season by an old doe.

The two suits may be an overkill but I definately recommend...

RE: carbon express 3d select or cx

Definately the 3D Select. The extra money is well worth the confidence of the straightness and the weight tolerances.

RE: which bow string?

Try George Bowman Custom Strings (www.bowmancustomstrings.com)

I had the same problem with my zebra. George' s string was about $70 and worth every penny.

Winner' s Choice are nice strings...

RE: rockey hammerheads

I am a huge fan of Rocket heads.

The 2" cutting diameter is a little on the large side. I will be shooting 80+ pounds out of my Razor Tec and I plan on staying with the Steelheads. My brother...

Try to mitigate the expenditure by saying at least you don't have a drinking, gambling or drug problem (i.e. bad ways to spend money). I have seen it work for others. Personally, I am too...

RE: Mathews Mq-32

Times are tough with the resale on that model.

Bare Bow: $325-$375

With Accessories: $425-$450

That is what I have been seeing them go for on archery.net

I sold my MQ-32 loaded for $425...

RE: Mathews Ultra2

I am a big Mathews/Hoyt nut. My thoughts about the Ultra 2 is that it possesses good speed but you lose the "Mathews" qualities. It is fairly loud and has a lot of vibration for a Mathews. If you...

RE: Hoyt or Matthews--what do you think

I ordered the Razor Tec and the LX.

If I were to just choose one (without actually shooting them), I would go with the Razor Tec.

It is one inch.

I am tuning my bow for those heads. The world record Kodiak bear was killed with them by Bob Fromme.

They will do damage.

RE: Hoyt Razortec

Razor Tec will absolutely be the best hunting bow for 2003.

PAbowhntr, you should go over to the forum on www.realtree.com

The members could use your technical advice.

RE: RAZOR TEC

I agree.

I think the Razor Tec is arguably the most perfect hunting bow available.

But, if you are going to be shooting way out there (50 yards plus), the Ultra Tec would probably be better.

RE: girlfriend/wife

I change girls every hunting season. When Turkey and Deer seasons roll around, I am on a dating moratorium.

Therefore, you hunt, then go back to the girls, repeat process.

That is my advice.

RE: Bowtech extreme solo

Definatley Rockets.

Look at their fixed blade (Ultimate Steel). I think it will be a great alternative to mechanicals if energy is deficient.
