My wife has been a caring and understanding "fall widow" for the last 22 years of My life, and I always show My appreciation for Her not ragging on Me about My absence during hunting season. She recently recieved a 53" projection television with a surround sound DVD player. I got Me a keeper, and try to show My gratitude every chance I get.

By going hunting your giving each other a break .But it sure is a good Idea to help her out when you get home.

Beck family is the most important thing in the world, you say your mom will allow you to hunt? As some others have said, take your hunting stuff to your grandmothers or a friends you can trust. Hunting is obviouly important to you and seeing that she will allow you to hunt shows a certain amount of respect for you, return the respect by getting your stuff out of the house to maintain a good relationship with your mom. Remember you only get one mom and I would hate to think that differences would drive you two apart. You are in a tough spot, try to not push it on her, accept the fact that she probably will never change and try to adjust to it.

I change girls every hunting season. When Turkey and Deer seasons roll around, I am on a dating moratorium.

Therefore, you hunt, then go back to the girls, repeat process.

That is my advice.
