Default Finally, got my mounts back!!

Well after 13 months wait on my white tail and only 5 months on the mule deer, I got them up and hanging. I went Saturday and pickd them both up.

Don't mind the hole in my ceiling, I need to get some new grates.
The wife was really worried about these hanging in her living room, but after we got them up, she surprisingly said they look good in there. Lucky for her, cuz I was just going to tell her to go in the other room then!

Good for you!! When I was married I always got the last word in too, and it was always "Yes dear".

Good looking Mounts! Congratulations. I love the pose you put on your whitetail. I have two done that way also. When I was trying to decide on the pose I didn't think I would like it but it has grown on me.

Good looking bucks!

Man those are some real nice mounts, I have had one mounted and it burnt up in a house fire in 82, the rule in my house is it has to be bigger than the last one to get it mounted, I will probably hunt another 20 years to beat the one I had mounted!

Taz, you have to have one to be bigger then, you can't actually count the one you don't have anymore!!

But that will be my basic rule, unless I get a very unusual looking deer that needs to be displayed.

Kind of hard to tell from pictures but it looks as if it was worth the wait . Those look to be some fine quality mounts , its hard to find someone who does good work like that , down here in florida its allmost imposable .

We all have different oppinions , if we did'nt the world would be a BORING place

Nice looking mounts.

I especially like the sweeping wall-mount pedestal that the whitetail was done on. That's the first one I've seen outside of the various taxidermy catalogs. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice mounts! That looks like quality work for sure! I finally found a taxidermist a few years ago that does quality work. It's defintiely worth the wait and the price. Curious....what do they cost in your area?

Taz...I'm with IL on this one....you DON'T have one to beat anymore (unfortunately)....I say get the next nice one mounted!

This taxidermist is a bit on high side for cost. But I have liked every mount I have seen of his, so the price wasn't a biggie.

The white tail cost 430 and the mulie was 410. The whitetail mold was an extra 20 bucks to have him turned like that.

The pictures don't do the mounts much justice at all. This guy deffinatley pays attention to detail. Everywhere there should be a fold of skin he shows it.
