Default girlfriend/wife

hey guys i know this might not directly relate to bowhunting but in a way it does. i was just wondering if any of you guys do something special for your girl after hunting season has closed since she has put up with it all for the last 3 or 4 months. im only 16 and my girlfriend is the best man!!! she supports me on every hunt and doesnt complain everytime i go hunting. haha she even hunts too!!! good thing she didnt kill one bigger then me or i wouldnt ever hear the end of that. i was just wanting to let ya guys know that we should thank them a lot for putting up with us through all this!! now that season is over she gets a break til turkey season starts then im gone again!!

i personally think i am giving her a break while i am hunting. 1 she dose not have to put up with me if i am not there 2 if things go good she dose not have to go to the store as much. I can keep on going but it it dose not matter because during bow season i can not do anything right, i am always gone, i do not care about anything etc.....
after the season i try to take her out some where nice and start a big project around the house. Ya know the one that she always comes up with a week before the season starts.

LOL....I hope you just forgot a comma

My girl gets no breaks, I am in the woods just as much from Jan to April shed hunting, scouting and setting up stands. And when i do take a break from the woods, its tuna and shark fishing.

She's a good girl

Lots of little things works better than one big thing -> you get one point for buying her a car or for bringing her wild flowers.

I'm still married to the girl I fell in love with when I was 16. That was 33 years ago. Seems like she likes to see bow season start. I hunt close to home most of the time, so she can sleep in till I get home on Saturday mornings. When I hunt after work during the week, I'm not in the way while she's fixing dinner. Everybody's happy! I like the wild flowers idea and might give that a try (some year).... Jim

I'm just out of touch with todays generation. I think I'll just keep it simple with a girl friend and a wife as too separate people. The "Best Man" has done his thing and gone. Beck, are you typical of todays 16 year olds. When I was your age we kind of frowned on such stuff. Oh well, live and let live. Say hello to Bruce for me, or is it Bernice.

As far as the original question before we got off on Becks dating habits, I don't want to spoil her so I start getting ready for turkeys and golf because August crop damage comes quick. AND.. it looks like I may get put on this team to take out some municipality suburbia deer starting Feb 1st(bow only). If I tell her it's over on Jan 31st and then tell her I got a new season starting Feb 1st......well, you may have to call me Bernice. I'll just leave well enough alone and not tell her it's ended.

I sure do I let her cook the meat. After all I spent many hours and froze my buns off for them 3 to 6 deer a year while she sat home in the warm house.I use no family money to hunt. So I give her the honor to contribute by using her cooking skills. My wife is glad to get me out of the house anyway after 35 years of putting up with me.When hunting season is over ,she often comments dont you have somewhere to go today??? So I leave for 8 hours and visit auctions or just sit at the mall and watch the chicks
