I am thinking of switching to thunderheads this year, Ive been using satelites 100gr. but they dont seem to keep a good edge. How do thunderheads keep there edge.

Are you kicking him up in the same spot everyday? If you are just post about 50 yards from where you are kicking him up you should be able to pick him out, or maybe wait till light and try to sneak...

They mostly check them at night if it is a hot scrape or primary scrape the buck my hang close to it during the day, about 50 or so yards away he will be downwind from it so he can just scent check...

I usually drink a cup of coffee and wait ten minutes then I go get it, but it depends how many hunters are around if there are a lot around I will go after it right away.

I use scent shield and an earth scent cover up, but as I have said before I have seen deer with and without the scents so if they are really needed, I dont know. Play the wind.

I would guess it is to early, I am not sure when they start droppin them. I heard around here in PA february or march, that sounds late to me.
