Do you hunt bird or rabbit when deer season is not in, and if so do you use a dog? I have hunted rabbit with beagles, man it is a blast.

When not hunting deer, I hunt turkey, squirrel, rabbits, and groundhogs. Assembling the equipment to start calling predators. Not much of a bird hunter. When all else fails, I hunt unopened cans of Wal Mart soda . . . all the while dreaming of next deer season.

I love to rabbit hunt, but there just doesn't seem to be that many rabbits around here. We never used dogs we always just waited until the first snow and the go out and stomp the brush. If you happen to know of a place let me know, I'd love to come down and bag a few bunnies for the stew pot

smokpole we do have rabbit down my way, but you know how little snow we get! Without a dog you will kick ten miles of brush for 2-3 rabbit!

I hunt rabbits with beagles during the offseason. I really enjoy the dogs.It makes hunting into a laid back family affair for us. my dad and brother in law hunt with me a lot.
