Until a couple of years ago I used nosler ballistic tips but now have switched to partitions for all my rifles. For some reason I always seem to end up with nosler bullets.

Whatever is on sale and is a soft point bullet, for the particular caliber I'm using. I'll buy 3-4 boxes, sight the gun in, clean it again, then use the final box to hunt my deer/bear/elk/antelope or pig with.
For hunting purposes, I want my shots to be at least 5" groups at 200 yards and Im happy. This philosophy hasn't let me down in years. I get my game all the time (provided I have a shot).
From Core Lokts, power points, to Federal premium loads, they all work for me with the right shot placement. My freezers are full year round with various game. I haven't bought store meat (steaks, ribs, chops etc...) in about 10 years..... I must be doing something right with the loads I choose.
