RE: Double lungs, heart, or heart and double lungs?

I like the forward of center double lung. A lot of times you get the aorta with the lungs. Quick kill!

RE: Gloating over my 23lb'r.

Talbot County. It's WV on Sunday for the opener there on Monday. The turkey sign there is incredible. Might try my bow.

Gloating over my 23lb'r.

2 hours into opening morning. Came in quiet but puffed and strutting. The best part is, I got it all on video. I have never seen a blue as bright as his head when he was 20' from me in full strut!...

RE: Box Call?

I just picked up a Quaker Boy Hurricane and was very impressed. It is fairly highpitched but with a little practice, you can get a good range of pitches out of it. And, it works wet.

RE: Thinking of buying an ATV recommend one!

If you can spare the $'s, the Yamaha Rhino is awesome! Otherwise, if you don't use it in a lot of snow, a light 2wd model works well. I have a Yamaha Bear Tracker 250 and have NEVER been left...

RE: Unorthodox camo patterns??

I use Predator fall gray for most hunting. I have never been sight busted in it and I've been close to some cagey old bucks. I do use darker camo's for hunting turkey from the ground.

RE: Best Hunt Picture(s)

This deer was memorable because I shot him, he went 25 yards and fell in a trail that I could get my truck to. Otherwise, it could have been a nasty drag through the marsh. He was also my first P&Y...

RE: Is this buck big enough for ya ?? (picture)

For what it' s worth. I' ve seen bachelor herds of similar quality deer on heavily hunted land. They are out like clockwork until around the end of August and then guess what? They disappear never...

RE: what would you choose of these 3

I got an Apex. I compared it side by side with the t/c and liked tha action and construction of the breach better. Definitely go with the drop action and 777 powder. A great combo!

RE: Hornady SST sabots or power belts

I shot a 300 lb. deer with a powerbelt hollow point (348gr I think) and had excellent performance. It went through his massive shoulder on the high side and lodged under the skin on the far side in...

The API with the convertible foot rest/shooting rail. I forget what the exact model is, but it' s great for bow and very comfortable and quiet. Excellent treestand. I' ve tried most of the others.
