Actually, don't ignore HNI Visitor. HNI Visitor is a username the administration of Huntingnet has created to post questions for visitors to the web site but may be unfamiliar with the messageboard or be a frequent reader without the resource to register or join. These questions come from legitamate hunters like you and I, young and old alike looking for information. I'd appreciate it and I know the admin if we could accept the questions and answer them with the best information we can. Sometimes they may seem like they are all thrown in at once but hey, I agree with some of the above, some of the are great questions and I as well as some of you could probably learn a thing or two. Thanks for your patience and cooperation.

I dont understand. If they dont have the means to reg. or join then how do they view the answers given? It does not cost to reg. If they are on line then they should have a e-mail address.
I agree it is rather strange.

Who, maybe these people are at work where they can't register to post.

more than likely, they are getting on at school or a library and don't have their own email address in order to register

anyway BBB, it's not the same guy trying to buck his post count - its like Rob/PA Bowyer said (there was actually a post expaining this when they first started doing it)...if you would read the post at the bottom of each one it tells you this

BBB I usually agree with you 100%, but I think that NCBowHunter1969 proved that they are people who may be undecided on whether or not to join. I was glad that NCBowHunter1969 said he used to be one of the HNI posters and decided to join because of replies he received.

I will admit that some of the question posed are odd, but many of them seem legit, and the more folks we can help out hunting today the more secure the future of our sport will be for our children and grandchildren.

Well, now, everyone is aware of the potential problem. I guess the mods should be able to see a pattern and hopefully keep it under control. The questions are legit alright but only the mods can really tell if there is a problem with the poster.

I hope we can keep making new people feel welcome and I certainly don't want to mis-label a good intentioned newbie a toad. Heck, most newbies can teach us all something also.

Just beware, it is a problem on other boards. It's easy to deal with once uncovered but you have to keep an eye out.

Sorry for any offense my paranoia has caused.

BBB, obviously no offense taken. We appreciate the alertness and the help that is for sure. Like I said, HNI administration puts these posts here deliberately so it's no one spamming the boards.

AND, I was one of these guys myself. 3 years ago prior to the new layouts I visited this board from work stations. I had no email account and could not register. At the time, each time you posted you need to enter your email address. I had none so I started posting by putting a feedback email address for Huntingnet....lol We've come a long way.
