Thanks for the heads up I am going to order from skyline. Cabelas had the same problem with back order but that was late August and I am in my early Predator Camo that was back ordered and still shipped timely!

Man, you guys are bumming me out. I just ordered an XL leafy combo last night and asked for the 2 day delivery also, sure that it would be here by this weekend. I have been busted by the same doe 4-5 times this year and am itching to turn the tables on her. We have until Nov. 15 for our Bow season and the rut is ready to get cranking here, or has already.

Ausie-Guy, please tell us that the shipment came in and they can fill their orders...

I know it ain' t your fault, just hoping for the best. We' ll see what happens. Worst case scenario, I have an awesome outfit for next year, or the late season if I don' t get one before then. :-)

David, I did think about canceling the order but I really would like to try ASAT camo. Unfortunately there is only one place in the world selling it and it seems to be kind of tough getting it out of them. If nothing else, the bow season runs through December 31 here in Minnesota. So even if they have to hand stitch my suit I should have it before season ends. Guess I will see how it blends into snow...

I hope I don' t get too much heat from this, but the way I see it is, why would anyone wait until hunting season is underway before ordering their camo (or any equipment for that matter)? This should have been done in March or April. You can' t fault companies that run out of stuff because everyone waits until the last minute.

Danny, don' t be silly. Of course we can blame the company. I would hope we wouldn' t blame them too much but they certainly have to take the blame in part. To be honest I have only heard of ASAT on this board. I have never seen anyone wearing it. Ever. It seems only recently that it has a lot of people around here have been talking it up. Call me ignorant if you want but if you sold hunting supplies (camo or ammo), when is your biggest selling time? Hunting season. Yes, I should have ordered sooner, but we are talking about backorder times of 5 weeks. I am not angry at ASAT. I am happy that as a small business they are doing well selling a product that they are willing to stand behind. My hunting season isn' t going to fall apart if I don' t get my ASAT. I already took a great buck using some of that crappy Realtree HD. I am just excited at the thought of anything that can really change the way I hunt for the better. ASAT could that thing. Of course I want it right now!

LOL Appears the crappy Realtree HD worked pretty good!

Okay, I can understand if you' re just hearing about it. But if I' m not mistaken, Jim has had that Camo out for at least 10 years. I may be mistaken, but isn' t it large irregular blocks of either brown/tan with limb looking additions for the fall, or with green for spring? I saw that stuff in Bowhunter magazine many years ago. I' m surprised it' s not more popular.

Good luck, hope you get it soon. Back then, they did have a snow ASAT too!

Go ahead and order some Predator. It really is not a compromise. Seems like this board has been trying to sell alot of ASAT recently!
