I still have both of mine. I passed on alot of deer early on that I wish I would have taken now. At least season opens back up on the 19th and runs til Jan. 10th. Not going to be as picky this time.

Nice bow,as far as weight it depends on how much you can draw and hold comfortably and what species your after. 50#s is more than enough for deer but 70#s will get your arrow there alot quicker with...

I for one think that if your going to stick a deer it should be with a bow unless you cannot physically draw one back. If your shooting good at 30 yards then you are already shooting at a cross bows...

I wear Lacrosse rubber boots and love them also. Just get the right amount of thinsulate in them for the season your hunting so your feet aren't sweating or too cold and keep them in a bag.

CWD is not spread by baiting. That being said,if it is legal to bait and you feel good about it go for it. Its illegal to bait in Iowa so I have never hunted over bait but I do leave a mineral lick...

Have you ever looked at a Draw-Loc.. They also make a 24 inch axle to axle bow with the draw loc built in. I hope the reason your using a cross bow is because you absolutly can not draw a bow back...

You can just line the feathers up with the blades or if you want to get real technical you can buy an arrow square that will seat your broadhead true to your insert for maximum balace .

you have permanately sealed and lubed bearings on that bow. The worst that could happen is a little surface rust on the bolts. Use a little WD at the end of the season
