Default Stabilizers....

Whats your opinion for a hoyt v-tech? whats the ideal weight for hunting?

Nice bow,as far as weight it depends on how much you can draw and hold comfortably and what species your after. 50#s is more than enough for deer but 70#s will get your arrow there alot quicker with less chance of the animal jumping the string.Especially at further distances.

I think it was an implied question.... which stabilizer would you recommend for his Hoyt V-Tech? And what weight stabilizer do you think is the ideal weight for hunting?

To answer: Never owned a Hoyt, so I'm no help there. I'm about to order a 6", 10-oz. model from Stealth Archery. Go to www.stealtcharchery.com and read some of the reviews from non-biased sources they have linked there. Quite a few members here shoot them and have had great results.

I have the 8" Stealth on my BowTech ,but that's just because that's what feel's right for me .It might not be right for you ,so you just have to compare on a few different model's and weight's and go from there to what feel's good for your setup. A stabilizer is kind of a personal feeling thing in my opinion.
