not sure if this should be posted somewhere else but here goes....
while in georgia i was huntin' near this creek when i saw something white movin' towards me...at first i thought it was an albino fox squirrel because of the size but i've done search after search and can't seem to find a picture of the critter i saw....he was about the size of a fox squirrel, it had a white face, all but his nose area which was in a shape of a diamond and black in color, the tips of his ears were black, his tail was like a raccoons (white with black rings), his underneath was brilliant white and his back was like a white silver color, basically white.....the first day i was up there i was checkin' out the lands and saw something white bouncin' away from this opened area...it was too small to be a deer but never got a good look at it....i heard that they have seen an albino fox squrriel around but since i can't find a picture i'm at a loss....could it possibly have been a mink?

Sounds like a ermine to me. They are like a weasel and have a white coat in winter all but the tip of the tail is black. Then they return to gray color in summer. He was probably in transition stage. Thats my guess anyway.

I saw something, not exactly the same, but similar in Myrtle Beach this summer. It was crossing the road early in the morning in a pine forest / golf course area. It was about the size of a big cat, lean and black with a white face. Ran like a weasel. Thought it might be some sort of pet that got loose.

I saw a fox squirrel in ill. this fall that was all white except the tail and belly was red and the head had a little black around it's mouth and ears. Was the tail big and round like a squirrel or skinny like a mink?

i think it was more like a squirrel tail...the lemur looked a lot like it but definitely wasn't that.
maybe after the holidays i'll be able to work on editing the pictures...thanks for y'all's help and keep the guessin' coming....i'm leaning towards fox squirrel.
