Quality of shaft doesn't matter so much IMO - a damaged arrow will explode regardless of make or brand expecially from todays high powered compound bows

heres another opinion

Get the recurve, not the longbows. Do not get the II greybark models, they don't sell as well.

If you pay $500 for a nice Widow, you'll be able to sell it in 2-3 years...
