This guy shouldve gotten better arrows!
This should be a reminder to all of you who are too cheap to buy new arrows every 20 years! I guess his bow was a little too strong for those arrows.

Ouch!, thats gotta hurt.
I don't know about better or cheap arrows but what this guy should have done was..........checked his arrows before shooting them like the carbon arrow manufacturer recommends no matter how new/old they are or what brand they are.

I know Mykey! I used those ssame arrows for a few months, they even say to check each arrow before and after each shot RIGHT ON THE STINKIN ARROW!!! Hows that for irony!

Sheesh I can barely even look at that without grabbing my hand in fear!
What make/model of arrows are those? CX?
I don't think it has to do with the quality so much, but that he didn't check them!
Every time I think about buying some of the carbon arrows for my daughter, I think of that picture and forget about it immediately!

Your right AH!, and i'm guilty myself of not checking my carbons the way i should so i'd be telling a lie if i said i do. How many people do you think actually does check every shaft before shooting?, probably not many but this picture reminds me why we should. I do check periodically but not on a regular basis and not near as much as i should. I've seen that picture before but thanks for bringing it up again as i think we all need to see it from time to time to keep us reminded of what a damaged carbon shaft will do.Maybe i should print the picture and put it in my shop so i'll see it on a regualr basis as a reminder . Check those carbons folks!
