Default I'm Hooked

I decided last fall after season ended that I wanted a new challenge and decided to make the switch to a recurve. I shopped and read and asked question here and although I do not yet have my dream bow, I did make a starters purchase of a Ben Pearson 40#@28 . I received about two weeks and have been shooting at a bag target in the basement from about 10 feet. I am so hooked on this. It just amazes me after all the years of dealing with tuning and tweaking and adding gadgets to my compound, to pick up this recurve and spend a couple days figuring out the best arrow length and Spine and getting the hange of instictive shooting. I know I have a long way to get to get better. But man do I love this simplicity and ease .
Thanks to all here for your advice and guidance. I am glad I started light and am going to work my up. I just got a deal on a Hoyt HuntMaster. 45#28. It should be here next week. I am not ready to shoot it yet, but it will be there, when I am.
Thanks again

Way to go,WB!And the good thing is you're going about this the right way-getting a nice light starter bow, then working up to something a bit heavier when you're ready. You're on the right path, just keep at it and have a blast with it!
