i'm having a hard time finding a farm or ranch in texas online to deer hunt next season. i'm active duty stationed a long way from texas and that makes it harder. i can't just go knock on someones...

i hunt the open plains of the texas panhandle... the only way to get that close is spotlighting grain fields at night which aint legal. other than that 300 yards is an average to close shot.

I am referring to rifle/muzzle loader hunters.
