Default Daughters 2010 buck

This is my daughters first big buck. She has taken a couple smaller bucks a few years ago. She was pretty lucky to had got this guy. She had shot twice at him in the wheat field at first shooting light and missed both shots. She blamed her new scope on her rifle so I let her hold my rifle if another buck presented himself. Luckily we spotted the same buck skirting the field on the opposite end about an hour later. We barely got resituated and adjusted in the blind before he started heading into the mesquite trees. He gave turned broadside and she made a great 140 yard shot. He ran about 25 yards where we found him burried in a thicket.

Talk about one proud dad! He is a giant for our neck of the woods. He measured 131".
