Default Lucky vs being good

When it comes to hunting would you rather be lucky or a good hunter?

Lucky gives great results over the short term. Good produces great results over the long term. The best of both worlds is being lucky and good.

Well I've been accused of being good for nothing and lucky to be alive...does that count? I have great luck...sitting reading a book this year in ground blind and out walked my first archery buck, dropped him.walking down road with rifle drinking a Dr Pepper and having a smoke and 9 point standing at 150 yards...bangflop!yeah luck is on my side!

Most of the times I think "lucky" hunters are just good hunters......

As my dad always says: "Hunting is alot of luck, you can have all the pictures of a deer coming to a certain spot everyday at the same time. But if your there, and he doesn't come, there's nothin you can do"

I would rather be lucky myself.

80% of hunting is being lucky enough to be at the right spot at the right time. The rest is what you do after you see the deer. To be lucky is to be good.

A mixture of both I suppose. Lucky when it comes to the animals but good when it comes to taking the shot. I certainly wouldn't want to be lucky when taking a shot on an animal.
