The cow manure works great if you can stand the smell. I will find every fresh cow patty on the way to my stand I can step in. It is a natural smell that deer are used to to smelling. Give it a try.

Cliff620 hit the nail on the head. I like the clover and the Lespadezia. You can even buy chickory or LabLab though the companies that grow them for the commercial market and pay half the price.
