I have an older hand climber and it is second only to my LW hang on. They are the best stands on the market for all the reasons that have been stated above.

My Lone Wolf Hang on with 3 climbing sticks on it is smaller and lighter than 99% of the climbers out there. It isn' t any harder to set up than a climbing stand when it comes to changing spots.

In a garbage bag with a fresh earth sent waffer. After a season in the bag the clothes still smell like the waffer even after I washed them. Then I put the bag in one of those Mart storage bins.

I' ve been using one for years. For me they seem to call in more does than bucks, but that is no scientific study. Silence it when you are not using it though. One time (at deer camp:D) I forgot....

I' m with VAhuntr. Lone Wolf makes the best stands out there. I have tried Loggy Bayou, Summit and API. They are light weight, super quiet, and fold to about 3 inches flat for back packing.

Listen to RedAllison, once you go ladder you will never go back to using steps. Lone Wolf makes a good one. 7.5 lbs gets you 16 feet up.
