Don' t use it this time of year. Skeeters love that stuff and will eat you alive. Unfortunately speaking from experience. Works well once the skeets are gone.

Use that and VK. Both are good roducts. Of course you can substitute vanilla extract for the VK.

We run a small outfitting service and use it all the time!!! Have amazed guys by having deer bed down , downwind of us well within bow range. This is without scent loc !!! Just a good shower in unscented soap. I usually spray down every other or 3rd outing and when finished hunting tie clothes up in a clean plastic bag. The wife hates it says it smells too much like a deer!!!!!Convinced my partner after having him be downwind walkin in and then having several small bucks bed within 15 yds of my stand wind blowin right in their faces!!!!!

I use the stuff on my boots. I have had deer walk over my trails, and they don' t get nervous.

deer dander doesn' t smell like vanilla, it smells like deer. VK smells like vanilla.

The way I understand it , is that it' s a composite of many things,ie urine , gland excretions, dander ,etc. EVERYTHING BUT VANILLA!!!!! Get a bottle LRhody and take a whiff, I can almost guarantee you won' t smell vanilla. As far as allergic reaction , I can' t be sure. Try it on boots and at your level in stand. Great cover scent. To give an idea , it smells alot like a fresh deer bed. Apparently they think nothing of it or they wonder who the new kid in town is. Those have been my observances.
