I' ve been shooting a Carbon Force Extreme Pro for 2 years now, and love the bow. The only problems i' ve had is that i craked the armor coating during league last winter, high country put new limbs on it for free. OK great problem sloved, exceot it just did it again... Other then that little problem its been just an ausome bow. Fast and True, Everytime.

I have been shooting and hunting with my High Country Ultra Force for 6 years now and dread the day I have to replace it. I use to buy a new bow every 2 or 3 years at the most, But my Ultra Force is the best shooting bow I have ever owned, I have just harvested my 10th buck with it and also numerous doe' s with it and only 1 of those deer went over 50 yards after the shot. I have had a few problems with it, Cable bar kept falling out right after I bought it, they sent me an insert which took care of the problem ( I think the hole in the riser was made to big), then 2 years ago my limb split and they sent me new limbs ASAP.. The last couple of years I have tried to buy another Ultra Force to keep for when i was ready for a new bow but wasnt able to find one. I wish they wouldnt have stopped making them. Not only is it the best shooting bow I have ever owned it is also the cheapest bow I have ever bought I still cant believe I only paid $250.00 for it at a local Archery store especially when I paid $600.00 for my Mathews which I hated 2 years prior. I was just looking a my 2003 HCA catolog the other night and seen the Ultra Extreme which looks almost Identical to my Ultra Force other than a little shorter Axle to Axle, I might have to buy one for down the road incase they stop making the Ultra Extreme aswell. I own a High Country Split One X1 that I bought in 1999. A great bow for me. But this past summer I discovered I had a cracked limb, well I contacted High Country and they had me send the bow to them and within 5 days of them recieving it I had it back in my hands. Amazing service, since I had heard in recent years the company had gone downhill. Ifact so much that the shop I bought my bow from stopped carrying High Country. But this past year Spencer Ladd the owner of High Country recognized there was a problem and rededicated himself to his company after going off and persuing other business ventures in recent years. So as you can see it seems things were bad but have now been fixed. I was very pleased with every aspect of my dealings with High Country. If you do a search for High country posts on this board you will find one from me on the excellent service I recieved.

I shoot High Country Royal Hunter (circia 1993) and it has been rock solid for the whole time. Only problem I had was about 6 years ago, it developed a creaking sound in it that I could not get rid of. I sent it back to them and they returned it with a brand new set of carbon fiber limbs. Benn killing deer ever since with no creaks. My only complaint withhte bow is that it is long and heavy. That' s why I' m looking at buying a new one. Something shorter & lighter.
