If they are copper and came in the kit along with the rifle, chances are they are 295g. As dave said, look on the upper corner of the packaging. My CVA shoots powerbelts well and I prefer the 295g...

Tear off about a foot of white and wrap it the opposite direction of the threads. Overlap both ends slightly and your good to go.

cayugad is the one that turned me on to birchwood casey. I have a CVA Optima and you can tear down the trigger assembly. I spray inside the trigger and firing pin area and the powder just drips out....

I wouldn't call year old powder too finicky. Depending how many times that can had been open or closed throughout the year, temperature changes etc. I am kind of anile and make sure I have fresh...

I think most consider the 777 loose creates about 10% more boost. Therefore, 100g of pellets = 90g of loose. Thats the problem with pellets, getting an exact load. I would say to try 3-30g to = 80g...

I have a CVA Optima and the 295 powerbelt vs 300g hornady xtp groups are almost identical. I use 90g of 777 2F loose, black crushed rib sabot and 777 primers. I wouldn't touch the scope.

Congrats on the new gun. My regular Optima likes 90g of 777 loose and 300g xtp with crush ribbed sabot. I use the 777 primers. Good luck and have fun with it.

I have an Optima and the load you were going to try is a perfect start. First, powerbelts work well with CVAs (obviously) and the 100g pellets won't push them very hard. I prefer the 295g powerbelt...

I would be more prone to find a thinner sabot and load the gun as intended. With all the sabots out there, surely there is one to fit the Triumph. Call MMP or Harvester and ask them what triumph...
