NC deer hunting

I'm moving down to NC and looking for a hunting partner. Planning on taking some time off in Nov and hitting Croatan and some of the surrounding areas.

i know there is a lot of land on the Marine Corps base at quantico, and a lot of it is limited to bow only.

just moved, need some help

I've spent the last year in VA for training, but now I will be stationed in NC around Cherry Point(Havelock). Just hoping i can find some tips on areas for deer down there.

REI.com and campmor.com(no e) has many light backpacking sleeping bags for $60-80 or more that would probably work for ya, they have more selection than cabelas

if you've got extra money and want to save some space and weight, pick up MSR's MIOX water purifier. its not a filter, it injects a tiny bit of salt into the water and then sends an electrical charge...

hey guys, i've been scouting a lot lately and haven't heard a single response to my locator calls. today i walked up on 4 big toms and i'd blown my crow and woodpecker locators not 2 minutes before...

hey, i've been up around lake jocassee on the public land. saw some sign but nothing else. i did talk to people spending the week up there and they got a 400lb. male the day before i was up there.
