It varies in Minnesota and Wisconsin as we apply for a time slot. I think the first seasons in each state start around April 15th or there abouts. I always go later season in Minnesota so I can hunt every year. In Wisconsin as a non resident we usually only get drawn for the later seasons which works for me. This year goes as follows:
May 3rd to 9th - South Dakota
May 11th to 15th - Wisconsin
May 13th to 19th - Minnesota
Since I have overlapping permits in WI/MN I'm hoping for a quick kill in WI.

Mine will start a little earlier than normal here in Pennsylvania. My son just turned 12, (PA's legal age to hunt), so WE'LL be heading out for the junior season opener on April 23rd. It's his first time as a hunter in the turkey woods and I can hardly wait!
