I use the Kix Gobblin' Thunder, .655 constriction. Winchester Supreme #5 shot works really well for me. Hopes this helps!

RE: Better turkey choke for mossburg 500`

I use to hunt with a 500... I used an H.S. Strut Undertaker choke. I'm thinking they are still under $20. It held a very good pattern at 40 yards.

The best and loudest one I've ever had or heard is the Primos Power crow call. I would for sure recommend that one... fairly easy to use also.

Activ shells

Has anyone used these shells? Pretty sure they were popular back in the mid to late 90's around here. I sure would like to get my hands on some more. Are these shells even made anymore?

RE: Tree Stands

If you are going to use a climbing stand, I would recommend the Summit Viper X4. Very comfortable, quiet and easy to set up. I bought one this past season, and love it.

RE: What gun to buy???

I bought a new gun just last week... Stoeger semi-auto. It's a very sweet gun, it's basically a cheap version of the SBE. $399 at Dicks sporting goods, can't beat that deal with a stick!

Bought a sweet gun today...

Just got back from purchasing a Stoeger 2000 12ga. I went ahead and got a 24 inch barrel and fully camo finish. It feels really sweet, I can't wait to shoot it.
