Ha I did Mo. Without even relizing it. OO well nobody said I was the brightest one on the tree. Wait somebody did but I dont consider them credible sources.
Hey Mo how could you show or even consider posting a matthews, and to think I thought you were different.
I guess any bow will throw a stick downrange, its the shooter that makes the bow. What size shot do most of you shotgunners use. And MO do you know if Missouri allows the use of the dreaded 8 letter word crossbow for turkeys. I don't have one or anything I was just wondering.

I think all of us should go hunt these turkeys with thebowhunter. I think that this will make our chances of winning much better.

Hey Mo or anyone else that shoots ACC's. I shoot a reflex buckskin set at 68 pounds and shooting around 285 feet per second. What type of acc am I looking for. Bass pro has 2 kinds size 3-49 or 3-60. I have no clue what that means. Can you help?

No offence Mo, but I think ACC arrows are not only over priced but over rated also. It is one thing if you are doing alot of compatition shooting, but to go out and shoot a bird or a deer save your money. My opinion.

Hey guys, sorry about just now checking in... my season opens this coming Saturday (April 1st). Hopefully we can be the ones that fool the big boys. I'll be hunting in East Tn.

Saltflat, I'd have to know the length of the arrow to give you a postive answer, but once you get that, the Easton site has a chart telling you what size to use for different weight/length combinations. I used ACC's for many years, and although you won't tell much of a difference with turkeys, for deer, the smaller diameter of the ACC's will result in more pass throughs than a regular sized carbon shaft. I only ever had one deer I shot with the ACC's that wasn't a pass-through and had many shots blow through shoulders and one shot blew through the shoulder and then the brisket, and still burried in the ground 3 inches. I haven't had as many pass-throughs even with heavier alums, or carbons.
