Just by looking at the bore & the machining of the rifling you can tell it is a modern, mass produced barrel. Not to mention the fact that the lettering on the barrel is done with a machine.

a cap lock and a flint lock are two entirely different animals... if you want quick reliable ignition with the shortest ignition time possible then use straight BP in both the pan and charge.

The lock plate has been inletted. The lock panel has to be thinned on each side about 3/16". The stock has a lot of extra wood that has to come off in a lot of areas... Good for carving stock.
