went to the only walmart in 50 miles (not the same walmart i saw the deer at) that still has an fabric center. looked and they had red stripped pillow tickering about 2 yrds. for .83 off the clearance table.

I hope you bought them out. I also picked up some .010 muslin which is 100% cotton and tried that as a patch. When it did not work I bought a fabric cutter and for $2.90 a yard I have a lot of cleaning patches for the rifle now.

i have some muslin, must of just been an end of an core, they had an brand new one on the shelf

Run that ticking through the washing machine once or twice to break down and remove the sizing before you use it.

Every Walmart here has a fabric department. I bought a few yards and now have a few thousand square patches cut. Should last me a while.

I was just at Walmart and they had a bunch on sale at my area store also.I dont mess with that stuff tho.Just seen it when I walked by.Good Luck making your patches tho.
