I do alot of goose hunting and i have had my share of wounded birds and flat out misses.. i like to use the 4 B' s technique that works the best for me...

i did not get a chance to go but just the first weekend... i had to go to alcohol treatment for 28 days.... so i picked the wrong time of the year... but my dad got a big gobbler in the aeneas valley...

even though it is a close range caliber rifle... i don' t like to shoot over 200 yds anyway.. so it suits me just fine.... just broke her out of the safe sunday for some shooting...

i use a .308 also and use trophy bonded bearclaws and regular federal 165 gr and ihave no problem killing anything..

all the turkeys on private land in the sinlahekin.. so it is a waste to go there.. i went there last year and hunted 10 days and did not see one turkey.. but i see them all the time around the lakes...

here in washington it is not illegal to shoot a sow with cubs but they tell you in the pamphlet to try not to shoot one... if i saw a big sow with some yearling cubs i would shoot one... i shot one...
