Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default How about a Friendly turkey Contest?

Some of you might have follwed the hunting contest this past season in the Midwest forum. We divided people into groups of the region, with approx. equal amt. of people. Then took the 3 best deer from every group and made a contest out of it. It was pretty cool, and was fun.

I' m sure there are enough turkey hunters out there to have contest with the whole US, or at least the states that are represented by a hunter. We could keep the top 5 birds from every group. The birds score would consist of spur length, weight, and beard length. I' d be willing to get the contest going, if somebody else would help me group hunters together. If you would like to be involved in the contest just reply and also state the state or states that you plan to hunt this spring.

Here are the participants so far. If you want added just reply and I' ll put it up as soon as I can.

Count Ga. in. You say they will be scored by Beard, weight & spur. Does that mean twice the beard and 10x the spur?
