What does it cost this year ? I think it was $295 last year. Florida needs to raise it's out of state license for Turkey and fishing. Instead of raising our hunting rates.

Your problems is the place your hunting. The WMA you are hunting is very tough. You should look at getting a blind if you can't use a climber or tree stand. Good luck

I went fishing at the pond down by the river and caught about 6 fish each time. Caught about a 2.5/3 LB bass the last time. Most of the fishI caught were small . There are Lots of Gators in that...

I may try and go Friday or Sunday. I went last Sunday at 1pm and they had no permits. You may have to be there before they open the gate to get a permit.

I dont think green swamp west will even be open the weekend after christmas. There is a hunt there the weekend after new years. But you need a permit to hunt there. You can hunt green swamp (east)...

If you can get out there during the week and try it one time. I have had alot better luck during the week. Scouting alot would help. Try and find a area with a good food source. I seen my only buck...

Do you really know where I am hunting? .I never seen any tacks on trees. I have 3 spots in that area with rubs. I had to work late so I did not make it old today.

I road my bike and walked. Mostly walked so I can scout on my way into the woods and scout my way back. 90% of the rubs I seen were about 25-50 yards off fire breaks.

Is it true the bigger the tree the bigger the buck when it comes to rubs? I have seen lots of rubs while scouting GS this last week. Some spots have rubs on little trees and big trees.

You must stay all day at Green swamp when you hunt with that drive. I live about 10 mins away from green swamp. So christmas and thanksgiving are not very busy?

I did not get to the check in station till 6:00 am and I think there was 3 or 4 trucks there and the guys where sitting around talking.

I agree about the gates needing to be open more to scout....
